10. Clerk Forbes and Co, Banker. Bombay merchant Willis Richard-41455 (Richard Augustus , Richard , Richard , Progenitor ) was born on 5 Apr 1814. He died on 21 Feb 1873 in Woking,,Surrey.
He is partner in Forbes and Co. Bulley, pp. 58-59, has it that in 1810, Charles Forbes goes Bombay to London, (when a Capt George Seton sails for firm), to represent for biz, the firm here given as "Agency House in Bombay", being himself Charles Forbes at Fitzroy Square, London, William Taylor Money, John Stewart and Hormarjee Bomanjee. Bulley, p. 57 of Bombay ships by 1824 has list of Forbes and Co being Charles Forbes, James Kinloch, David Inglis, Mitchies Forbes, as firm of Forbes and Co., tendering ships in 1824 for England from Bombay.
