6. Major-Gen HEICo Adjutant Willis Richard Augustus-58451 (Richard , Richard , Progenitor ) was born in 1778/1783 in Constantinople. He died in 1847.
He seems also to have drs Elizabeth Anne and Maria, not sure which is which here. Is his father - Richard Willis of Forbes and Co? Iseke says his line goes back several more generations. In 1814 he is Town Adjutant of Bombay. Not in Hodson list? Per Iseke and a London researcher Tony Fuller, one of the Richard Augustus Willis (plural of them) may be son of a Richard Willis and Maria Claire, this Maria Claire possibly has a son Constantine, and this Richard seems to be in Instanbul as part of Levant/Turkey trade. Iseke corrects, he seems to be son of a Richard Willis (Of Forbes?). Willis family tree per Iseke. He is Town Adjutant in Bombay. He seems to be George Inglis from info per Patricia Iseke. Richard married Brown Agnes-4773 daughter of Planter, linguist Brown Murdoch-62822 and Conjectural King Eliza-59225 in 1809 in Fort St George, Madras.
