2. Shubrick Richard or Thomas Snr-991 (Progenitor ) was born in 1662 in England. He died in 1756.

He is Richard (1682-1746 son of Richard and Mary) in one more academic view. Geocities file on Shurbrick. He became captain of a merchantman by 1740, London to Charleston. See Kellock, article, p. 145. He at one time seems to have initiated a court case which gave some Contract Law precedents, Shubrick vs Salmond (1765 and re Lord Mansfield).

Richard married Resided in England Oldfield Jane-992 daughter of Oldfield Progenitor-440409 and SNotkown Miss-440410 in England,probably.

They had the following children:

	4	F	ii	slaver Shubrick Sarah-993 was born on 5 Sep 1705. She is child1. See Kellock, article, p. 145.

+	5	M	iii	slaver Charlestown SC Shubrick Thomas Snr-994 was born in 1711. He died on 14 Aug 1779.
