Robert married Darvall Emily Sophie-19716 daughter of General Darvall Edward-19539 and Docker Sophia-19540 in 1870. Emily was born in 1842. She died in 1923.

28. Clerk Qld Parliament Godschall-Johnson Ralph Edward-24317 (Godschall II Godschall-Johnson , Godschall I , John , William parent problem , William , Progenitor ) was born in 1812 in Antwerp. He died in 1876 in Brisbane,Australia.
Descends from early Alan Zouche in England. He and wife Butler had seven children. Compare this man's career to that of Sir Daniel Cooper qv, first clerk/speaker (?) of the NSW Parlt. In Info Sheet No. 1, John Godschall-Johnson indicates he has no confirmation of the birth of R. E. Godschall-Johnson in Antwerp, (?), see a booklet, "Redcliffe [Brisbane] 160 years", pubished by the town council of 1959 which states, "When Ralph Godschall-Johnson left England in 1859 with Gov Bowen's party, he left his family behind etc," Those he left behind included Ellen, Frances, Francis O'Neill, and William Butler GJ, who arrived in Aust in the Vimeira in Aug 1860. Frederich arrived arrived about 1864-65. The eldest son Ralph Cholmondeley who is g/father if John Godschall-Johnson the informant and the next son Charles came out with their father according to May Thornton's material. Gov Bowen arrived at Moreton Bay from Sydney on ship "Cordelia". Ralph Edward Godschall-Johnson shortly wrote a letter to a paper objecting to a cowardly attack on himself accusing him of being in debt in England, once he had been offered the post of colonial treasurer of Qld, Ralph Godschall-Johnson had possibly had a position in NSW beforehand, he was a gentleman of private means and possibly manager of the English Bank at Calais earlier. FFSG has a grandmother named Butler. his own mother's name was Eleanor Butler. see 10-12-1859 see Moreton Bay Courier of that date. Letter from May Thornton.
