21. Lord5 of Manor of Isle of Wight Gardiner John-481038 (David , John , David , Lion , Progenitor ) was born in 1714. He died in 1764.
Gardiners took the American side during Am Rev. The British Navy used Gardiner's Bay as a rendezvous,and did so again in 1812 War. But one descendant's modern view is that Gardiners worked both sides of the Am Rev. Not surprising, given the island's position.
John married (1) wife1 Mulford Elizabeth-481042 daughter of Mulford Matthew-481462 and Chatfield Elizabeth-481463. Elizabeth died in 1754.
They had the following children:
