3. Lord2 of Manor Gardiner David-481028 (Lion , Progenitor ) was born about 1636 in Fort Saybrook. He died in 1689 in Hartford CT.

He is first English child born in CT. Legend is that pirate Captain Kidd pillaged his manor and made it the hideout for his treasure. Gardiner's Island (10km x 5km and 43km of coastline) is first English settlement at New York at eastern end of Long Island. It is the only American real estate still intact as part of an original royal grant from the English Crown says a wikipedia page on Gardiner's Island. Last estimated worth $125 million. First had corn, wheat, fruit and tobacco plus livestock.

David married (1) Lerringham Mary-481030 daughter of Lerringham Progenitor-481159 and LNotknown Miss-481160. Mary was born in 1641 in London.

They had the following children:

+ 8 M iii Gardiner Lion II-481033 was born in 1665. He died in 1723.
  9 F iv Gardiner Elizabeth-481034 was born in 1659 in NYC. She died in 1690 in NYC.
        Elizabeth married Parshall James-481165 son of Parshall Progenitor-481384 and PNotknown Miss-481385. James was born about 1640 in England. He died in 1701 in NYC.

David married (2) Wickham Elizabeth-485403 daughter of Wickham Senior-485404 and WNotknown Miss-485405. Elizabeth was born in 1712. She died in 1769.
