This is Ann the dr of John C Black River. Dr Lorne Campbell says she married at Glasgow 26 December 1720 to David Currie. See Lt-Col Shakespear, pp. 25-30, merchants at 10 Billiter Square were Currie and Shakepear. This man has sons John and Colin both in the firm. David Currie husband of Ann C the dr of John C Black River He is at 10 Billiter Square. See Lt-Col Shakespear, p. 25. See name Currie in list for Dyke, Barts, in Burke's Peerage and Baronetage. See name Currie in Smiths the Bankers, This is per Dr Lorne Campbell. This may be the Colin Currie with whom DC wrangled from 1766. Later see DC wranglng in London with David Currie and Arthur Shakespeare. Colin Currie son of Ann Currie or Ann C the dr of John C of Black River. See notes of Marion C of Kilberry, but we are still not sure if we have the correct connections here.
