I am doing reserch, on and off, for several years to write a book on Thomas Law and his ex-wife Eliza Parke Custis Law. I have lots of material on both but I am searching for personal correspondence between Thomas Law and his family in England. I am particularly interested in a biography of Ewan Law and Joanna. Ewan is not in the New Oxford Dictionary of National Biography. I know they settled in the Isle of Wight (UK) and their vast property was inherited by many descendants. I am looking for the family papers and letters of Ewan Law.
