The files in this sub-directory (Jamaica) are basically early-draft chapter files from new research on Jamaica by Pieter Dickson (UK 2006). Dickson's forbears once had plantations in Jamaica and some had children by African mothers, hence the names of Dickson's project here, Kin and Creole Cousins. From February 2007, new files and graphics were added to this previously-unavailable set of information on Jamaica following Pieter Dickson's visit to Jamaica in January 2007 - Ed.
