3. Governor Connecticut Trumbull Jonathan Snr-461092 (Joseph , Progenitor ) was born in 1710. He died in 1785.

In 1794 he was secretary in London for John Jay re negotation of the Jay Treaty. He had witnessed the Battle of Bunker Hill. He is "painter of the American Revolution" and aide-de-camp to Washington for 19 days. But in 1780 he left the army and went to London to study painting under Benjamin West. Was imprisoned awhile.
        John married Harvey Sarah Hope-461094 daughter of Harvey Progenitor-461095 and HNotknown Miss-461096.
