3. Dr the Protestant Martyr Taylor Rowland-71271 (John , Progenitor ) was born in 1510 in Rothbury Northumberland. He died in 1553/1554 in Hadleigh Suffolk.

There is dispute as to whether this Rowland Taylor is progenitor of the Taylors of Virginia. From USA http on Virginian families by John Marshall.

Rowland married Tyndale Margaret-280421 daughter of Tyndale John-280422 and TNotknown Miss-280423. Margaret was born about 1510.

They had the following children:

	4	F	i	Taylor Susan-280424.
				Susan married Pendleton Mordecai-280425 son of Pendleton Senior-325613 and PNotknown Miss-325614.
+	5	M	ii	Taylor Thomas-280426 was born in 1574. He died in 1618.
	6	F	iii	Taylor Annie-280428 was born in 1554.
				Annie married Rector Kirk Deighton, Yorks Palmer William-280429 son of Palmer Progenitor-292818 and PNotknown Miss-292819.
