Emigrant to Jamaica Scarlett Francis-308201 died in 1685 in Eastbourne in Sussex.
He emigrates probably tempe Charles II. But he is said to have been present at the taking of Jamaica in 1655. He is from Eastbourne branch of Scarlett family in England. http on The Scarlett Family in Jamaica by F. J. DuQuesnay. He is given land in Parish of Saint Andrew, Jma. He is apparently disinherited when his father dies in 1659. He is on the Wag Water River area.
