This man later a judge, interested in botany and agriculture. died in 1770. His third son John born in 1744 a NY lawyer married a NY lawyer and he married Margaret daughter of Alexander Colden the postmaster and Surveyor of NY then her sister Jane. He fought for the British in the Revolution. His two brothers Lt-Col Edward and Dr Lewis were Revolutionaries. At end of war, John and his family fled to Canada. He died 1815-1816, with five children, the second son being Henry Colden Antill who later went to New South Wales, Australia as aide-de-campe for Gov. Lachlan Macquarie.
