redo 28-6-2010. He is named in http on Lane Family History, family is long of Orlingbury in Co Northampton, England, which manor was owned by Wm Lane in tempe Edward Iv, who died 1546. This is part in US regard of line of Major Samuel Lane - as compiled by Larry A. James in 1986. See also a http on Wilson/Pennington line. Some evidence also arises re line of Colonel Joel Lane of Bloomsbury North Carolina, who was a Rev war officer related to Isaac Lane whose line settled in Polk County, Arkansas.
