He dies relatively young. He arrives in Sydney in 1828 and goes into whale fishery, with letter from Sec State for Colonies. Has an unnamed partner. Pastoral affairs in Bathurst. Mowle's Genealogy for Kemmis.

Arthur married Raymond Aphrasia-24572 daughter of Postmaster-General of NSW Raymond James-121808 and O'Dell Aphrasia-121600.
