3. Merchant, Bank NSW Jenkins Robert-14816 (Robert , Progenitor ) was born in 1777 in Circa. He was christened in 1811. He died in May 1822 in Accident.

He becomes agent for William Wilson by 1809, arriving at PJ in ship Atalanta, owned by William Wilson. his own ADB entry. A. O. Sulllivan, on James Wilshire, this man acts for merchants Wilson Bros. > these notes refer to Richard Jones, not Jenkins > From 1809 and later he is an agent for William Wilson. He became an auctioneer. he arrived in 1809 by ship Mary Ann, joined a partnership with Alexander Riley, then with Edward Riley. In London their links were with Jones and Riley or Bell and Wilkinson. in 1819, Macquarie complained this firm raised prices 100 per cent as convict ships were not allowed to carry merchandise. Robert married Pitt Jemima Matcham-31953 daughter of Pitt Robert-80238 and Of Dorsetshire Matcham Mary-14811 in 1813 in Sydney. Jemima died in 1842 in Eagle Farm Campbell Town NSW.
