3. Rev Higginson Francis-178387 (John , Progenitor ) was born in 1586/1587. He died on 6 Aug 1630 in Salem Mass.

He has nine children. He is son 2 in Cabot genealogy p. 55.

Francis married Widow Herbert Ann-178388 daughter of Herbert Progenitor-97279 and UNotknown Miss-110447. Ann died in 1639/1640.

She remarries to Higginson and has eight children to him, it seems.

Francis and Ann had the following children:

+	4	M	i	Rev Higginson John-177793 was born in 1616. He died in 1708.
	5	M	ii	Capt EICo Higginson Samuel-197796 died in at sea. He possibly m or to Sarah Craves? He in Cabot genealogy p. 56 is capt of a man-o-war in Cromwell's time, capt of an EIComan, died aged 44. Of Stepney, London.
	6	F	iii	Higginson Ann-197797.
				Ann married Of Guildford, Conn Chatfield Thomas-197798 son of Chatfield Progenitor-197799 and CNotknown Miss-197800. He arrived to Conn with Rev. Henry Whitfield's company.
	7	M	iv	Higginson Theophilus-436148 was born in 1616. He died about 1654.
				Theophilus married HNotknown Elizabeth-436149.
	8	M	v	Capt ship in Jamaica trade Higginson Charles-436150 was born about 1628. He m to Mary.
				Charles married HNotknown Mary-436151.
