Thomas married Reeves Hester-27960 daughter of Of Cork Reeves Robert-290345 and RNotknown Miss-290346 on 15 Apr 1738. Hester was born in 1718. She died in 1789. She was buried in Braddan.

Moore, Manx Families, 1889. Other note: he was the son of Governor Holwell of Calcutta, India, and a survivor of the infamous "Black Hole of Calcutta".
