2. Czech explorer, merchant of Bohemia Manor Herman Augustine-509644 (Progenitor ) was born in 1621 in Prague. He died in 1686.

One view is that he is born 1605 in Prague. He had brother-in-law George Hack. Apparently arrived in 1644 to New Amsterdam for Dutch/Amsterdam merchants Peter Gabry and Sons. Sometimes questionably claimed to be initiator of Virginia tobacco trade which began in 1629. Did from New Amsterdam export tobacco and furs for wine and slaves. Owned most of Yonkers, New York. Moved to Maryland in 1661 after bad treatment from Stuyvesant. treated with Calvert's of Maryland to be given land in return for mapping work 1670 of Virginia and Maryland. Given Bohemia manor in s/e Cecil Co Maryland. Negotiated with the owners Susquehanna Indians for the land as well. Lived as a country squire, in 1678 apptd a Commissioners to deal with Indians. Said to be ancestor-linkage to Richard Bassett qv, Daniel Brewster, James A Bayard, James A Bayard Jnr, Thomas F. Bayard, Thomas F. Bayard Jnr, Francis Beverley Biddle, Henry W. Collier, Lucius Q. C. Lamar, Edmund Jennings Randolph, and Joseph Tydings all gapskey to be linked. His own wikipedia page. He named Chesapeake City Maryland.

Augustine married Varleth Jannetje Marie-509647 daughter of of New Amsterdam Varleth Caspar-509648 and Tentenier Judith-509649. Jannetje died in New Amstersdam.

They had the following children:
