His son becomes private capt in Wm III's army. He puts 92 guns in four forts on Barbados. See Harlow book. He has two sons. His son 1 Christopher donates books to All Souls College Oxford. He is Lt-Gov Barbados and Capt-General of the Leewards in Burke's P&B for Codrington.

Lt-Gov Barbados slaver Codrington Christopher-56116 was born in 1668 in ,Donor,,Lt-Col. He died on 7 Apr 1710. He deals with merchant Richard Cary/Carey in London, He has kinsman Lt-Col Wm Codrington. In Harlow book, p. 157, One Col Byam is Gov of Surinam in Guiana till Dutch capture in 1667. Mr William Mead is customs commrs of Barbados, one of largest landowneers on Nevis, His father's agent is Povey, his own agent is Hutchinson. He is friends with Dr (Sir) Samuel Garth. He has a cousin Rachel who marries Colonel of foot regt John Courthope, Rachel the dr of John Codrington 1590-1670 older brother of Christopher I. Harlow book, there is a Consett's bay on Barbados in his time. He donates books to All Souls College, London. Burke's P&B for Codrington.

15. Treasurer, Barbados Codrington John-54958 (Frances Drax , William of Barbados , Progenitor 2011 ) died in 1688 in Barbuda.
