Burke's Peerage and Baronetage, p. 648 for Currie. She is Currie's first wife. Her own genealogy is exceptionally difficult to trace. She is of the family of Larkins of Blackheath who sent a convict transport to Sydney, Australia, before 1800, Royal Admiral 1. The genealogy of this Larkins family will be placed on the Net in due course. She evidently had a son Harvey Christian, son4, died aged 10 months, born 1 June 1829, died 1829. In Pike, Dissent, p. 117, p. 528, Note 52 to chapter 5, Raikes Currie is a director of VDL Land Co., citing J. Bischoff, Sketch of the History of Van Diemen's Land. London, 1832. He is also a banker with Glyn's. He is a first cousin to one vice-admiral Mark John Currie born 1785 son of Mark Currie MP married to Elizabeth Close. Fulford on Glyn's, p. 187. He is of 4 Hyde Park Terrace, London. son2. He is cousin of Rt Hon CS Lefevre and of Sir Frederick Currie, Sir, Bart. A banker of London and an East India proprietor, director of Sun Fire Office, a county magistrate, a liberal advocating national education. first elected in July 1837 for Northampton.
