He is a master of Trinity House. His own DNB entry. He is eldest son, DNB for Spencer, Earl5 Sunderland.

George married Lady Russell Caroline-6473 daughter of Russell John Duke4 Bedford Lord Admiralty-11443 and wife2, Duchess Bedford Leveson-Gower Gertrude-41878 on 23 Aug 1762. Caroline was born in Jan 1742. She died on 26 Nov 1811 in Blenheim.

She had three sons and five daughters. DNB for her husband. GEC, Peerage, Marlborough, p. 500.

George and Caroline had the following children:
