Christopher married Grant Margaret-256968 daughter of Captain of Providence RI Privateer Grant Sueton-256969 and Of East Hampton Long Island Talmage Temperancce-256970. Margaret was born in 1735 in Newport RI. She died in 1827 in Newport RI.

He is an only son. His son an only heir dies in 1840 and the family is dissipated. He has many friends in Europe, he gets involved in Tennessee Co with Nathaniel Princce/Prime. He is a graduate from Harvard. He loses a fortune of his fr'smoney in stock speculation. Once president of Bank of Rhode Island. His Papers (1740-1800) are at Rhode island Historical Society Manuscripts Division and they identify ship names used to Ireland for flaxseed and to Europe and in Russia trade. Champlins dealt with Aaron and Moses Lopez.
        Christopher married Ellery Martha Redwood-256976 daughter of Ellery Benjamin-256977 and Redwood Mehitable-256978. Martha was born in 1771/1772. She died in 1847.

She had no children.
