Thomas married Hanbury Anna-2994 daughter of Tobacco merchant Hanbury Osgood I-874 and Of Birmingham Lloyd Mary-69 on 12 Feb 1782 in England,probably. Anna was born in 1761.

She is dr1 in Burke's P&B for Buxton.

Thomas and Anna had the following children:

This man by 1820 wanted the annexation of NZ as a way to control whalers and traders on NZ coasts. His ADB entry by K. M. Goodwyn qv, but confusingly, both women have fathers named Henry, and that both such Henrys were subscribers to Phillip's Voyage.

Neil Rhind says a dr of Samuel Snr becomes Mary Wheatley - she lived at No 14 West Grove till 1829. Neil Rhind suggests she lives at No. 14 West Grove, the house of Samuel Senior, till 1829. Dawson says her brothers gave her a wedding present (now in Glasgow University Library), a leather-bound book of manuscripts of music mostly by Dr. Warne a music teacher of Charles Burney the father of Fanny Burney, which contains a song titled "Phills early one morning". She visited Boston in 1774 soon after Nathaniel's mother had died, as in Google Books Result, Carol Chandler Waldrup, More Coloniel Women: 25 Pioneers of Early America. Mentioning that Nathaniel married Mary Enderby., p. 83.

Mary married (2) Of Boston Wheatley Nathaniel-580 son of Prosperous Boston tailor Wheatley John-367912 and WNotknown Susanna-108409 on 10 Nov 1773. Nathaniel was born in 1743/1746. He died in 1783 in London.

Update from Keith Dawson of 14-7-2010, Dawson cites Gentleman's Magazine for his marriage date in London. He per Keith Dawson in May 2005 has a Negro half-sister Phyllis Wheatley who is amazingly educated classically in Greek, Latin, etc., and who once went to London in 1773 with Nathaniel, etc. One http has it that one Nathaniel Wheatley married Vinal Bliss. A fourth cousin removed of John Wheatley is Dorothy Wheatley who married Thomas Bliss of Preston Parva and Rehoboth. Phyllis once wrote a poem re Nathaniel and a lawsuit. It is said that when he took Phillis to London in 1773, she met many important people (such as Brook Watson) but there is no word on how Nathaniel could organise such meetings. Prior to 1773, Susannah W in 1772 had asked Capt Robert Calef, captain of her husband's London Packet, to sound out Archibald Bell a London publisher. Phillis was departing Boston with Capt Calef on London Packet in 8 May 1773, arriving London 17 June.
