Frances married Governor Virginia Rev Patriot Page John-1912 son of Of Roswell Page Mann II-3512 and Grymes Alice-14526 in 1765. John was born on 17 Apr 1743 in Rosewell,Gloucester Co,Virginia. He died on 11 Oct 1808. He was buried in 1808 in St John's,Richmond,Virginia.

Thomas Jefferson wrote to this man after he had seen DC in 1786; See Boyd, Jefferson's Letters, of May 4, 1786. He and first wife are from two dominant Tidewater families. he is religious, he ran second to TJ for Govship of Va in 1779, He sat in COngress by 1789. In 1802 he became Gov Va for three successive terms. He may be John Page Jr dealing with Norton, see Rosenblatt, on Norton and Credit. At William and Mary College he became friends with TJ, later TJ fell in love with "fair Belinda" = Rebecca Burwell, who later married Jacquelin Ambler. When he died he was the largest slave owner in his area, owning 160 slaves, yet thought he had spent his life in the pursuit of liberty. With second wife Lowther he has eight children.
